Mathcad Prime 2.0 crashing on startup.
Hi.
I am in highschool on my 10th year and we use mathcad as a standard program in math class, and without it, I am doomed.
Problem: Every time I start up mathcad, it crashes instantly.
It worked two weeks ago and since then I've tried reinstalling it, then running it, it crashes, reinstall it, repeat the evil cycle.

Colebrook Equation no solution found
Can someone please explain to me why Mathcad Prime 2 cannot find a solution. I did the same in Mathcad 15 and had no problems. If you add units this makes the situation even worse for MC P2 i.e it complains that it cannot resolve the units. Have I overlooked an otherwise obvious detail?

Prime 3 will display vector images correctly?
In Mathcad 15, if you insert a vector image, like WMF or EMF, the program will display it correctly.
This means that even if you resize the image, the thickness of the lines remains the same.
In Prime 2, after you insert a vector image, the program convert it automatically in a raster image. You can see this by resizing it. The thickness of the lines increases when the image is scaled up.
Also, it becomes blurry !!! A vector image is never blurry.
Can anyone at PTC tell us if Prime 3 will contain a fix to this problem?

I've tried it using a simple root fuction in mathcad in a loop but it doesnt work.

3 Dim matrix question and problem
I want to perform matrix math using a varible in three dim as a function of time Axyz(t)=multiple functions with x, y, z dim. Is there a way in Mathcad 15 to represent this (image a 3 dim cube with a particle in the center and or at each of the corners, as a function of time, I use field theory to alter each particle state, and thus effecting the nearest particle - one time unit later - as it ripples through each "cell" in the cube????)

How to solve an equation contains 2 variable range
Dear All Experts,
If we have 2 variable in a range in an equation, how can we solve it in mathcad programme.
for example in attached mathcad, the variables are:
1) x - is for the variation of pressure
2) i - the variation of layer of a pipe.
my aim is to calculate the circumferential stress through each layer by varying the pressure.

an explicit problem, how to explain it
I solve a function by explicit pattern, and then assign the roots to a variable, the result is changed, like this picture.
How to explain this problem?
And another, I input the "explicit" by keyboard, it do not work and return an error "Can't understand the grammar". I can only input "explicit" by click the symbol pallet. But in the "help", it said the user can input symbolic command by keyboard.
I'm use MathCAD 15 M020. Hope someone can explain it to me, thanks!

Problem plotting function with range variable
I've been using R14 for a while and recently tried switching to Prime to see if it would be a useful upgrade, but I've failed miserably at reproducing some very simple work from R14 (I didn't want to uninstall R14 to put R15 on to do the conversion so I thought I'd try something from scratch).
I would like to plot the result of a simple function across a range, I've declared the function and verified it works but I can't plot it using a range variable for one of the arguments?
It gives me the error "There are too many range variables"...what am I doing wrong?

Problem with exp() function
I'm sure this is a trivial question, but I'm relatively new to MathCad Prime.
Can anybody see whats wrong with this:
The value for m4 is computed earlier in the worksheet (obviously, as otherwise mr would be invalid. I have not put units on k (JK-1) of E (J) but it doesn't make any difference anyway.
So why won't it compute Ppen? Is it becase Eg and E are so small? Or, more likely, what am I doing wrong?

Mathcad Prime 2.0 Help does not work - HTTP Error: 500
In my company we have a floating server license for Mathcad Prime 2.0, I just got a new single license for my computer and I've asked an intern in Europe to download a 30 day trial version. Result for all of these: Mathcad Prime 2.0 help does not work and returns a Java.lang.nullpointerexception error.
I filed a case and have been through hours of uninstalling and installing Java versions, turning on and off McAffee (not really appreciated by our IT folks), uninstalling and installing the Mathcad Prime program, rebooting the system and so on. Nothing makes a difference. Upon searching the internet, it appears that this particular error can only be avoided by correct programming. So, here I sit with a brand spanking new Mathcad Prime 2.0 program, ready and eager to use it, but what is one to do without help? Where to turn?
Since it appears to have gotten silent on my case lately, I turn to the broader community. Is there a way to get the help files in PDF form or even on paper, so I can do something till the programmers have fixed this error?

To Solve 3 variables in Mathcad Program
Dear All Experts,
at the moment i have a situation on assessing a cylidrical pipe compressive buckling study with few variables which are
1) external pressure
2) compressive force
3) pipe length.
i have manage to obtain a sets of effective axial force by considering 1) and 2) variables in an equation. End up with a sets of tables whereby values in row is due to external pressure variation and column is due to compressive force variation.
later i need to check the allowable buckling force which dependet on 3rd variables which is the length 3)
Finally i need to compare both allowable and calculated effective axial force. How can i do it in a mathcad without doing it manually.
in attached spreadsheet i did put some remark for better understanding.
Appreciate your help and at the moment please ignore the theory on concept of the study in the spreadsheet.
